Some Important Information:
This is a one-on-one setting, just me and Fido. I can take him out for potty breaks & to play during the appointment whenever he wants to go.
I'm a new groomer and am still learning. I have all of the latest & greatest new equipment. Please be patient, I'm slower than some, but the trade-off is that your pet will have fun while with me and will get the love & attention he deserves.
I have no cages. I do not stack dogs in cages with blowers drying them.
All of my products are safe, all-natural, no soaps, no detergents, etc. Your dog will not be covered in chemicals and is unlikely to have a negative reaction to anything I use.
I do a very good job for a very low price because it's self-serving to do so. My clients don't scoot anal glands on my carpet or shed on my bed or get dirt on my couch, toenails don't scratch my bamboo floors and my home smells sweet. When I walk the dog, people say, 'He's so cute & fluffy & adorable!' and that becomes their impression of the Highlands Pet Nanny. I would hate for people to mention me & then in their minds comes an image of a dirty matted scoundrel scooting anal glands across a sidewalk. Therefore, I do a very good job and I don't charge much. It's self-serving :)
What I do is not comparable to Petsmart or the like. My prices are.

Sometimes Fido just needs a bath. Maybe he's between groomings or he rolled in something stinky.

Toenails clipped or sanded & anal glands expressed for an additional fee.

I can do a full grooming using state-of-the-art equipment in a quiet grooming retreat for your dog.

Your dog's spa day will consist of:

• deep cleansing shampoo,
• whitening / brightening shampoo,
• stain & odor removing shampoo,
• aloe & oatmeal shampoo to remoisturize,
• conditioner for skin & coat,
• manicure & pedicure,
• anal glands expressed,
• eyes & ears cleaned,
• teeth brushed or sprayed,
• warm blow drying by hand,
• thorough brushing, combing, removal of mats,
• checked for fleas, ticks & skin irritation,
• shaving, clipping, scissor work, hair styling,
• removal of dead/shedded hair,
• finishing conditioning spray.
• Your dog won't shed for about 2 weeks and will look freshly groomed even after growing out!
